Robert Pattinson is undoubtedly one of the most talented actors in Hollywood. He began acting when he was 15 with his first role as a Cuban dancer with no lines in the play Guys and Dolls at the local theatre – Barnes Theatre Club, which he had joined at 13 upon his father’s persuasion. His first lead role was as George Gibbs in the play Our Town.

Robert Pattinson’s plan to go to the university did not work out as he was shooting Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire at the time. For someone who never considered acting for a profession in the first place, Pattinson has made some of the best Hollywood films. Not to mention that his least favorite movie project inspired Stranger Things star Finn Wolfhard to get into acting.

Robert Pattinson’s The Twilight Saga Inspired Finn Wolfhard to Pursue Acting

Robert Pattinson gained attention as Cedric Diggory in the fantasy film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. But the movie series that earned him worldwide recognition is The Twilight Saga, in which he played the lead role of the vampire Edward Cullen opposite Kristen Stewart’s Bella Swan.

Although the film series worked wonders for both Pattinson and Stewart, they have grown to dislike it. At the time, fans loved those movies, but eventually, it became one of Robert Pattinson’s least favorite movie projects.

Teen actor Finn Wolfhard, best known for his role as Mike Wheeler in Stranger Things, recently revealed how growing up in Vancouver, which is one of the world’s premier film production cities, affected his will to become an entertainer.

During his appearance on an episode of First We Feast, Wolfhard said:

“You know, I remember Twilight, that was like, Twilight would come to Vancouver every year because they would film a new movie and I remember like them shooting by my house and being like “Wow, real movie trailers and real all these things.” So it definitely had an impact on how I looked at [like] getting an audition as a kid was very tangible because they would film so many commercials.”

Robert Pattinson might not be a fan of The Twilight Saga, but it definitely lured in one of the best teen stars in Hollywood right now.

“I only wanted to start acting because I wanted to be a film-maker. I still do. I still want to be a director.”
