Today FandomWire celebrates shopping with Amazon’s Prime Day Deal event happening right now, from July 11 – July 12. If you are familiar with the art of gaming until it hurts, or you are made to do something else less exciting, then quickly take a moment to check you pockets, piggy bank, safe or standard everyday bank account to see what you can scrounge for a few great deals.

Nintendo Gaming Deals
Of course we are talking about the Switch here. If you are looking for anything older please check FB marketplace, your favourite vintage gaming stores, or wherever your dad keeps his gaming stuff that he ‘forgot to sell’.
Fans of Nintendo will be familiar with their brand games not really going down in price, except for the occasional discount we have here for $55 a nice discount of 31% for Amazon’s Prime Day Deals:
- Bayonetta 3 – for those that enjoyed frenzied action to ludicrous scale of enemies.
- Zelda Skyward Sword – Sometimes forgotten gem in the Zelda series. Play the origin of the mythos.
- Xenoblade Chronicles 3 – for the fans of JRPGs this is a solid but a bit confusing of a story.
- Pokemon Snap – Take pictures of pokemon. Truly a better version of the game we got way back on the N64.
For a good off brand deal suggestion, try the Teenage Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Collection. All the retro beat ’em ups featuring the turtles you can handle. Grab it for $30 a discount of 40%.
Xbox Gaming Deals
Surprisingly there are not a lot of Amazon Prime Day Deals forXbox this year. For those that own an Xbox though, here are two hardware accessories with mentioning:
- Xbox controller can be purchased for $57 a 24% discount, choose your favourite colour.
- Xbox cooling station keeps your system going long hours for $55 for a 21% discount. Also charges your controllers.
PC Gaming Deals
A few interesting items for your PC gaming needs:
- ASUS has a several deals on gaming laptops, but for the best Amazon Prime Day Dealsdeal, this one is down 24%.
- ASUS ROG Strix G15 (2022) for $1450, not cheapest, but the best save.
- Samsung 49″ Odyssey G9 Gaming Monitor is a whopping 40% off down from $2000 to $1200. Try not to sit too close.

- Like a Dragon: Ishin Yakuza takes it back to the old samurai days and at $48, it has a huge 41% discount.
- Octapath Traveller II a new old style JRPG, this one is a true gem and at $55, it has a discount of 31%.
- Dead Island 2 Solid game for the zombie killing fan and at $76, it has a discount of 16%.
- Dead Island 2 Hell-A Edition for PS5 at $120, a small discount of 8% that’ll please the biggest fans of the franchise.
Finally something for those who don’t have VR but might be interested. The Meta Quest 2 has 256 GB and is $490, a discount of only 13% but this deal also includes a $75 amazon gift card for you to spend on more Amazon Prime Day Deals.
