This announcement, shared via a tweet by Vought International, immediately had fans discussing the potential of such a game if it were to be real. The idea of a Mortal Kombat-style game set in the show’s universe has fans dreaming big.
Fans React to the Idea of a Real The Boys Game
In Episode 3 of Season 4 of the show, we see Homelander’s son, Ryan, playing a brutal fighting game during his downtime. This fictional game, Tournament of Heroes, features characters like Lamplighter, Starlight, and Crimson Countess, and it delivers the same over-the-top violence that both The Boys and Mortal Kombat are known for. The scene’s graphic nature, with its gory finishing moves, only increased the desire among fans for this parody to become a real thing.
