“Scorsese. Did you see DiCaprio? He’s a good actor, right,” he said before adding, “But when he did two movies with Scorsese… He hit another level.” The Bloodsport star suggested that working with Scorsese is an opportunity for actors to elevate their craft and reach a higher level of artistic expression.
Emphasizing the filmmaker’s dedication to ensuring that performances in his films are genuine, he said, “When you go to the school of Scorsese, he will never let you do anything false.” Martin Scorsese and Leonardo DiCaprio have teamed up for several movies, with Gangs of New York marking their first and Killers of the Flower Moon, their most recent collaboration.
