Characters from Dragon Ball to Jojo’s Bizarre Adventure made Jump Force a game worth giving a shot. The visuals were amazing; hell, the ocean splitting in half was a sight worth beholding.

For those who like to behold art in museums, they were welcome to see its beauty, but it never appealed to those with a knack for stories. That is what many believe to be the reason its short-lived popularity went down the drain.

It was released on February 2019 and just after over a couple of years, we saw its server shut down for good. Though the ones who already had the game can still continue their adventure against Venoms in there.

What happened, happened. Now its time to focus on what lies ahead, which is Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero. With the kind of visuals we have witnessed in the game so far, this is likely to be the most eye-catchy Dragon Ball game to have arrived to this date.

Fans on X (formerly Twitter) just cannot believe the fact that it was created by the same developer. An image shared on the social media platform compares how far the game has come since it was first announced.

Though we must say that visually, Spike Chunsoft has done just a fine job in both games. While Jump Force was a result of Unreal Engine 4, Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero was developed using its successor.

That is what the hard work looks like, and fans know this. Although it’s coming after 17 years, the development actually began around six years ago.

Though both images showcase different versions of Goku, fans believe that with either of the graphics, the Bandai Namco game would turn out to be fire.

And its not over for Spike Chunsoft until they finally roll out the game. A lot of polishing has been going on since we checked last time.

Spike Chunsoft’s 2019 game, at first sight, appears to be a dream come true for many fans. In a way, it was. It brought some of the finest anime crossovers to the table.

It did receive nominations for awards, like Best Fighting Game, but the fact that it underperformed sales-wise led to its discontinuation and eventually delisting from digital storefronts.

Among the complaints from fans was its story; they weren’t content with the mindless feud against Venoms. Users who purchased the game can still play, however, the game struggles to reach even 100 active users now.
