It seems that the DCU is putting it all out for Ezra Miller’s The Flash. With Warner Bros. Discovery supporting James Gunn in his decisions for the DCU, it seems that they really hope that the Ezra Miller movie turns out well in the future.
Through speculated reports, it has been alleged that the movie has a whopping budget of $330 million! Including an intense marketing campaign, it is alleged that The Flash is the 9th most expensive movie ever made.
Ezra Miller’s The Flash Was Quite Expensive To Make
Well, director Andy Muschietti seems to have put a lot of effort into making the DCU movie. With James Gunn as the head of the DC Studios, the budget of the movie seems to be completely off the roof. The budget which included the production and marketing of the movie seems to be quite a high number.
As per speculated reports, it is estimated that the making of DCU’s The Flash cost Warner Bros. Discovery a whopping $200-220 million in production. The final budget of the movie, however, came to be almost $300 million due to the added cost of an intense marketing campaign to wash off several of Ezra Miller’s antics that the actor was involved in.
With such a high budget number, DC Studios, Warner Bros. Discovery, and fans can only hope that the movie will rake in millions of dollars at the box office theaters. Before the high number was reported, it was already decided by the people that DC’s The Flash was the “break it or make it” movie for James Gunn’s DCU. According to early reviews, it seems that the Ezra Miller movie might just make it this time!
The Flash Gets Hailed As One of The Masterpieces of The DCU

Although people had revolted against the lead actor Ezra Miller when their antics were at high, early reviews of the 2023 movie seems to be overwhelmingly positive. The director of the movie, Andy Muschietti also revealed that the movie acted as an homage to Zack Snyder’s DCEU!
“I would love Zack to watch this movie. I think we honored the part of the movie that he created in terms of characters and characterizations. And cast. So, I think he would enjoy it.”
The Flash is currently set at a high rating of 89% on Rotten Tomatoes with critics praising the movie and James Gunn. It has been reported that Miller has been keeping a low profile before the release of the movie and has refused to do interviews.
The Flash is set for a release date of 16th June 2023 in theaters across the U.S.
