But, didn’t the earlier reports claim she was penning the Batman reboot movie’s script? Yes, Christina Hodson, a longtime collaborator with DC Studios, will now not be writing the screenplay for the upcoming, DCU’s The Brave and the Bold.

As per reports, the film will also introduce Damian Wayne, the son of the current Dark Knight. Andy Muschietti has earlier made the decision to keep his feet firmly planted in the DC universe before the release of his superhero film The Flash.

Given how well-liked and respected Christina Hodson is in the superhero film industry, it may come as a surprise that she rejected The Brave and the Bold.

She has previously contributed to DC Comics franchises like The Flash and Birds of Prey, and her skills in creating fully realized, multifaceted characters might have undoubtedly benefited Andy Muschietti’s upcoming project.

But according to reports, Hodson’s decision to reject The Brave and the Bold was largely motivated by the chance to work on Fast & Furious 11. It is understandable why she would be thrilled to join the team given the franchise’s enormous scope and the presence of Dwayne Johnson as the project’s star.
