Jurassic Park star, Sam Neill, revealed in March of this year that he was diagnosed with stage three blood cancer. This devastated fans of the star, who were worried about his well-being and health. In his memoir Did I Ever Tell You This?, he revealed that he was being treated for angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma. When talking about this, he also mentioned that though he had gone through chemotherapy, the cancer did not respond to it, causing him to try out an experimental anti-cancer drug.

Jurassic Park’s Sam Neill Gives Sad Update To Fans
During a recent interview with ABC News, Jurassic Park star, Sam Neill talked about a recent update that his doctor gave him regarding his health, his medication, and his cancer. The actor revealed that he was told by his doctor that, eventually, his cancer medication would stop working. It is difficult to imagine how the actor much feel after getting this news.
“I’m prepared for that,” he said, adding that he is “not remotely afraid” of death. He then went on, “I started to look at my life and realize how immensely grateful I am for so much of it,” Neill said. “I started to think I better write some of this down because I’m not sure how long I have to live. I was running against the clock.”
Neill went on to say that even though this may be a terrifying reality for some, he cannot say the same for himself. The actor revealed that even though he now knows that eventually, he will not be able to outrun his cancer, he is not afraid of dying. He is more focused on being grateful for everything he has.
