The actress is all set to make an appearance in four popular TV shows and movies that fans are very excited about: Madame Web, Alien: Romulus, Superman: Legacy, and The Last of Us Season 2. For those who don’t know, Merced gained popularity in the late 2010s, with her work in movies and TV shows like 100 Things to Do Before High School (2014–2016), Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), Instant Family (2018), Sicario: Day of the Soldado (2018), Dora and the Lost City of Gold (2019), and Sweet Girl (2021).

Isabela Merced is expected to be Hollywood’s next big star
The next two years will be very crucial for actress Isabela Merced as she will be appearing in four highly anticipated projects: Madame Web, Alien: Romulus, Superman: Legacy, and The Last of Us Season 2. The 22-year-old star will play the role of Anya Corazon / Araña in Madame Web and Hawkgirl in Superman: Legacy. It is certainly an achievement to be a part of two of the biggest superhero franchises in the world at the same time.
She is all set to have a recurring role as Dina in The Last of Us season 2 while her role in Alien: Romulus is yet to be announced. Apart from this, she also played Aza Holmes in Turtles All the Way Down, which will be released on HBO Max later this year.
This is just the beginning for Isabela Merced
Merced was sure that she wanted to become an actress at a very young age. In fact, she made her Broadway debut at the age of ten. The shift in her career came with the role of CJ Martin in the Nickelodeon television series 100 Things to Do Before High School. With the lead role, Merced was able to prove her versatility as an actress, opening up bigger opportunities for her.
Apart from this, Merced is also a singer and released her first single, Papi, in October 2019. On May 22, 2020, Merced released her debut EP, The Better Half of Me, and was named one of Billboard’s top 15 new Peruvian artists to listen to in July 2020. With so many projects lined up, things are looking very good for the budding star.
