Annie Wersching’s Legacy Remains With The People She Was Surrounded By

Annie Wersching has prominently been known for her role as Renee Walker in 24. Her publicist recently revealed that the actress succumbed to cancer at the age of 45 on 29th January 2023 after battling against it for a long time. She was fighting through it while doing something she heavily enjoyed. Wersching was a part of Star Trek: Picard and The Rookie even though she had already been diagnosed with the disease. Her husband and her co-stars have all expressed their condolences and greatly miss the actress.

Annie Wersching with her family

“There is a cavernous hole in the soul of this family today. But she left us the tools to fill it. She found wonder in the simplest moment. She didn’t require music to dance. She taught us not to wait for adventure to find you. ‘Go find it. It’s everywhere.’ And find it we shall. As I drove our boys, the true loves of her life, down the winding driveway and street, she would yell BYE! until we were out of earshot and into the world. I can still hear it ringing. Bye my Buddie. ‘I love you little family…’ “

Her husband’s statement touched the hearts of every friend and family member who knew her and was close to her. She had been a kind soul who thrived for everything she wished to achieve in her life regardless of the obstacles that stood before her. Her legacy and charisma will continue to live on with her family; her husband Stephen Full and her children, Freddie, Ozzie, and Archie. Not only that but, a GoFundMe has also been started in her name to honor her.
