The Last of Us keeps getting better and better with every episode. The third episode of the post-apocalyptic drama premiered on HBO Max, introducing some new characters, including Nick Offerman as Bill, from the game series. The latest episode of the series also serves as what could be considered the series’ first deviation from the original game. However, it does not seem to affect the story of The Last of Us as a whole.
The Last of Us episode 3 follows Joel and Ellie as they move toward their goal and try to gather some supplies. Similar to the previous two episodes, the third episode has also received an overwhelming response, and fans have once again praised the cast and makers of the show.

Nick Offerman Wins Over Fans in The Last of Us Episode 3
The third episode of The Last of Us follows Joel and Ellie on their journey to the west. Episode 3 also introduces Nick Offerman and Murray Bartlett as Bill and Frank, respectively, from the original game. The third episode features a flashback, telling the backstories of the two characters and how they managed to survive in a post-apocalyptic world.
The live-action adaptation of The Last of Us also confirms the speculated relationship between the two characters. However, fans were highly impressed with Nick Offerman’s performance as Bill in the show’s latest episode.
The Founder star caught the eye of the makers with his performance in the 2020 drama Devs. During his interview with Deadline, Neil Druckmann shared that it was “Craig’s idea” to “reach out to Nick Offerman.”
During an interview with GQ, Offerman shared that he almost quit the role due to his busy schedule. But after he read the script he could not say no to portraying Bill in the series.
The makers also shared that they were surprised by how good Offerman was and they were also impressed by his chemistry with Murray Bartlett. Fans who are impressed with his performance in the latest episode, have already started rallying for an Emmy for the Making It star.
Fans Are Hoping Nick Offerman to Win an Emmy
