With the release of The Mandalorian on Disney+, Disney and Lucasfilm finally realized the fans’ demands to explore further into the universe that The Lucas Brothers had created with the Orginal Trilogy. Thus, the success of the show starring Pedro Pascal as Din Djarin has been on a rapid incline ever since the first season and keeps on growing without any signs of stopping anytime soon.

But to make this show the smashing success that it has become today, the lead star had to sacrifice his face in order to play the role of the character, who always dons a mask. Thus, when he was just beginning to get into the swing of things to play the role, he decided to consult someone who had experience playing such a protagonist, or at least one aspect of it. But it turns out that the star never reverted back to Pascal, which got him into a disappointed mood.

Pedro Pascal Was Upset When Chris Evans Didn’t Reply To Him

Throughout his journey in The Galaxy Far Far Away, we have almost never seen Pedro Pascal lose his helmet to show his visage to the audience. While this may be a stylistic choice by the character designer, it doesn’t really make the job easy for the Narcos star to keep it on the entire shoot of a particular scene. Thus, when he first came to know about the headgear situation, he decided to contact Chris Evans, who keeps his half mask on all the time during the shoot to get some tips on how to deal with it. But it turned out that the attempt would bum Pascal in the future.

During an interview with BBC Radio 1, the host asked the Game of Thrones star whether he exchanged notes with Evans who also wears a mask that is similar to his, although the MCU star’s headgear is a bit more open. When he asked this, Pascal sighed and told him that he did try to contact him, but got no reply from the star. He jokingly said that he just wanted to meet him as a person and talk to him about things. He said:

“It would have been nice if Chris had called me. I’d just like to meet him, frankly.”

Thus, he had to continue without any guidance from his fellow star, but he did manage to make the most of the situation that he was put in, and the rest is history.
