Cal Kestis

Cal Kestis is one of the few chosen few Jedi warriors that survived Order 66. After the events of Jedi: Fallen Order video game, Kestis joins forces with another Jedi in hiding – Cera junda. Together they decide to restart the Jedi Order. Kestis could be alive and kicking by the time grogu calls for help. There’s a high possibility he might try to recruit Grogu into his new Jedi Order.

Supreme Leader Snoke

It was never explicitly stated that only the Jedi could answer Grogu’s call. Supreme Leader Snoke has manipulated events from afar, across vast swathes of time and space. He finally consolidated his power with Kylo Ren and the First Order. He could answer Grogu’s call and use his mysterious connection to the Dark Side to corrupt Grogu just like he did to Ben Solo.

Ezra Bridger

Fan theories claim Ezra Bridger is all but confirmed to appear in the Mandalorian Season 2. Bridger disappeared with Grand Admiral Thrawn at the end of Star Wars: Rebels. Ahsoka Tano is on a quest to find him again. With so many references to Bridger, there’s a high chance he might show up to help Grogu. But given the fact that Ahsoka has spent an entire lifetime in search of him, making Ezra show up out of thin air for Grogu might undercut Ahsoka’s quest.

Barriss Offee

Barriss Offee is another character whose fate is still unknown after the events of Clone wars. The former Jedi Padawan betrayed the Jedi Order and framed Ahsoka Tano for crimes she did not commit. Some claim she became an Imperial Inquisitor after Palpatine’s rise to power. Offee is a character with a dark but rich past. Her inclusion into The Mandalorian season 2 would open doors to explore new plot elements for the series.

Galen Marek

Galen Marek is infamously known as the Force User called Starkiller. The character was first introduced during the Force Unleashed games. Darth Vader took Galen Marek in as an apprentice. After Vader’s death and the fall of the Empire, Galen Marek could have turned to the Light Side of the force. There are several in-movie nods to the character despite him being non-canon. Dave Filoni has also expressed his interest to make Starkiller canon. So maybe it’s more than just wishful thinking?

Anakin Skywalker

Ardent Star wars fans know that there is a world between worlds. This plane of existence powered solely by the Force was first seen in Star wars: Rebels. Grogu and Din Djarin seem inseparable. The only way for a Jedi to answer Grogu’s call and not take him away from the Mandalorian is to ensure the Jedi is a Force Ghost. Also it would be intriguing to see how Anakin has developed ever since he let go of the mantle of Darth Vader.

Mace Windu

Over the years, there’s an increasing amount of speculation by fans that Mace Windu is actually alive. Samuel L Jackson‘s character survived his fight with Emperor Palpatine. Star Wars has been very particular about death of fan-favorite characters. The fall may or may not have killed Mace Windu but it was never confirmed. And considering Samuel L Jackson is franchise Viagra, bringing him in would be a huge boost to the show’s popularity.

Quinlan Vos

Quinlan Vos is the perfect example of Star wars taking character ideas from Star wars: Legends and adding it to the canon universe. First introduced in the Dark Horse Star wars comics in the 2000s, Quinlan Vos is a Rogue Jedi. his methods are unconventional and unorthodox. He played a pivotal role in Clone Wars. If Quinlan Vos is still out there during the events of The Mandalorian Season 2, it would be likely we see him help out Din Djarin and Grogu.

Yoda

Yoda already has a sizeable presence in the new Force Awakens trilogy. In the sequel trilogy of Star Wars, he appeared as a Force ghost apparition and helped show Luke Skywalker the way. Grogu is a member of Yoda’s species. There’s a high possibility that Yoda knows Grogu personally. There’s also the fact that Yoda likes to tutor his students by giving them the power to make their own choices. Yoda might make Grogu choose between becoming a Jedi or sticking to Din Djarin.

Obi-Wan Kenobi

It is now a known fact that Baby Yoda was at the Jedi Temple of Coruscant before the Mass Culling of the Jedi Younglings. It is highly plausible that Obi-Wan Kenobi crossed paths with Grogu before he went AWOL. It will also be a strategic move by Disney Plus to involve Obi-Wan in the series given his solo series is also in the pipeline. It was Obi-Wan Kenobi who instructed Luke Skywalker to seek out Master Yoda. So he has some familiarity with the species. He will appear as a Force Ghost of course.
