The highly awaited Marvel franchise movie, The Marvels has finally released its first trailer and we certainly got goosebumps. The movie was set to release in February 2023, but there were some issues and now it will be released a little later. The details of the story are yet to be known, but the new teaser has raised excitement with the concept of a switch of powers between Iman Vellani, Kamala Khan, and Brie Larson. The Marvels is the thirty-third film of the Marvel Cinematic Universe and the 5th installment of Phase Five.
Marvel Studios has released a short teaser of their upcoming and highly awaited movie, The Marvels. The teaser offers a glimpse into the cast which comprises some familiar and some new faces. The teaser offers a glimpse of Teyonah Parris, who plays Monica Rambeau, as she looks utterly confused. Samuel L. Jackson who plays Nick Fury is also seen in it as he looks for Captain Rambeau. The movie offers a glimpse of Ms. Marvel making her film debut in the Marvel universe, Iman Vellani.
What is the release date of The Marvels?
The Marvels was initially set to be released on July 28, 2023. However the date was shifted back and forth and finally it was announced that it will release on November 10, 2023. In April 2022, The Marvels swapped the release date with Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania, pushing it to its November release date. The shoot of the movie was wrapped in May 2022.
Cast of The Marvels
The star cast of the movie comprises, Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan, Teyonah Parris as Monica Rambeau, and Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury. Saagar Shaikh, Zenobia Shroff, and Mohan Kapur have reprised their roles from Ms. Marvel. Zawe Ashton plays the lead antagonist in the movie and Park Seo-joon has also been cast in an undisclosed role.
Iman Vellani is a 20 years old Pakistani-Canadian actress, who is known for the role of Kamala Khan in 2022’s Disney+ miniseries Ms. Marvel.

The plot of The Marvels
As per the plot of the movie, Carol Danvers, Kamala Khan, and Monica Rambeau suddenly start swapping places with each other every time they summon their powers. Hence the trio has to team up to understand the reason for this weird phenomenon.
Talking about the film, Brie Larson said,
“It’s the thing that I love about Marvel, is that they continue to reinvent. They continue to do the thing that you just would never think would be possible in these films. And they’re not afraid to go there.”
Brie Larson added when she read the script she couldn’t believe what she was reading.
The Marvels will be released in theatres on 10 November 2023.
