The eyepiece made her look like she was wearing the iconic Gojo sunglasses. Another thing that impressed the fans was how she was confidently looking at the camera after shooting. She set a world record and won the Silver medal in the 10m air pistol female shooting. But she was not the only one who caught everyone’s attention. Another shooter from Turkey, Yusuf Dikeç, also made the headlines. While the other shooters had multiple pieces of equipment to help them shoot the target, Dikeç used nothing. Confidence was oozing out from every part of his body as he kept his left hand in his pocket while shooting.

His naked eye-sight was enough to shoot his pistol and win the Silver medal at the 10m Air pistol mixed team event. There were also fan-arts of him staring as a main protagonist. The previous Olympics saw an athlete imitating Monkey D. Luffy’s Gear Second. This time, it was Satoru Gojo. Jujutsu Kaisen fans will be proud of Kim Ye-ji’s on and off-field actions.

Yusuf Dikeç and Kim Ye-ji are not the only ones who grabbed everyone’s attention. 19-year-old South Korean shooter Choe did the same thing as the former duo. Instead of an anime character, his stance matched a video game character. He looked like Widowmaker from Overwatch. The Olympics has just begun. There will be more anime references as the tournament progresses, with the anime fandom keenly watching all the athletes.
