‘s Percy Jackson series were adapted into movies, released in 2010 and 2013. Although the movie featured an ensemble cast with the likes of Alexandra Daddario, Logan Lerman, Pierce Brosnan, Uma Thurman, and many others, it was not received well due to the poor grasp of the source material.

Development of the Percy Jackson & the Olympians series began in 2020 (via Deadline Hollywood. Starring Walker Scobell as 12-year-old demigod Percy Jackson, Leah Sava Jeffries as Annabeth Chase, and Aryan Simhadri as Grover Underwood, the eight-episode series premiered on Disney+ in December 2023.

During a recent interview with Access Hollywood, The Perks of Being a Wallflower actor revealed that he has not watched the series yet, saying:

“I haven’t seen it yet. I do want to see it though, and it looks really good.”

Further, when asked if he would ever make a cameo, Lerman did not shut down the possibility completely as he said that he would be open to doing it.
