5. Dwight Christmas

Call back to the last Christmas episode from season 9, episode 9 of the 2005 NBC sitcom The Office. With no Michael, Ryan, or Kelly this episode almost loses its grace, until Phyllis forgets to plan a Christmas party in a way to blackmail Angela who was cheating on her husband Dwight.

Well, Dwight (Rainn Wilson) being the star of this episode, saved the Christmas party by springing into action and planning an authentic Pennsylvania Dutch–themed Christmas. But again, while we saw Dwight at his peak, we also witnessed Jim and Pam at their lowest. Thus, with moments of happiness and oddity, this episode might not be a perfect one, but it definitely ended on a high note.

4. Moroccan Christmas

If you are tired of the same old Christmas celebration then season 5, episode 11 of The Office is just the thing that you need, because Phyllis has a Christmas miracle. While the episode wins the award for best Christmas cold open and the best prank, it majorly focuses on Michael (Steve Carell) who is hellbent on sending Meredith to rehab for her alcoholism.

But certainly, the true hero of the episode is Phyllis because she drops the awkward bomb of Angela having an affair with Dwight while being engaged to Andy. Abruptly shifting the gears on the Moroccan-themed Christmas party, Phyllis took the episode to such an extent that you might not like it. But if you do, chances are that you’re going to love it.

3. Christmas Party

While many consider season 2, episode 10 of The Office as one of the best, there are a few who give mixed reviews on the “Christmas Party” episode. But there’s no denying that this episode officially introduced us to Dunder Mifflin Christmas, turning it into a nearly annual tradition. The episode mainly focused on Michael’s Secret Santa party in order to impress his employees, mainly just Ryan.

The episode notes Michael’s pride in his gift-giving and rule-breaking abilities, alongside Jim’s eagerness to give Pam (Jenna Fischer) a teapot filled with thoughtful mementos and inside jokes. But after receiving Phyllis’ gift, Michael turns Secret Santa into a White Elephant gift exchange, making us all laugh at his ability to throw a tantrum when things don’t go his way.

2. Classy Christmas

While Christmas celebrates love and bonding, Michael has his way of doing things way over the top. Season 7, Episodes 10 & 11 of The Office thus witnessed Michael in a Santa suit, after learning about Holly’s return to Dunder Mifflin. Doing concerning things in the name of love is certainly Michael’s way.

Craving drama, Michael insists on upscaling the Christmas events to impress Holly (Amy Ryan) but ends up upsetting her by damaging a gift from her boyfriend. Further, bringing their future children into the discussion, Micheal somehow didn’t fail to embarrass them. But the episode wasn’t just about Michael, for there was a very graphic snowball fight between Dwight and Jim. But eventually “Classy Christmas” almost made it to the top of the list.

1. Benihana Christmas

Nothing tops the list like season 3, episodes 10 & 11 of The Office, for everything just worked out fine in this season. Although Michael began by damaging his relationship with Carol, leaving him single just in time for the office Christmas party, his lunch at Benihana fixed everything for him.

Following Dwight, Jim, and Andy to Benihana for lunch, Michael successfully takes his mind off of his breakup by getting drunk on Nog-a-sakes and flirting with the waitresses. But eventually, the success of this episode lies in the little moments with Michael. Not to forget, even Jim (John Krasinski) deserves an honorable mention for his squirmy face while watching Pam and Karen’s friendship.
