Thus, with the post made in the past on his Instagram, fans rejoiced with the news that he will be returning to create one of his passion projects with a live-action Warhammer 40000 adaptation.

In light of this information, many well-known individuals in the pop and gaming culture circles decided to voice their thoughts and opinions. Among them, popular video game content creator Asomngold also reviewed the post made by the Mission: Impossible star during one of his past streams. Here, he stated that if it was Cavill behind the project, then he was excited about it. The reason he gave was:
“I think that the one thing that we can guarantee is that if it’s in the lore, it’s probably going to be in the show. Yeah, I’m excited man! The problem that I think a lot of these shows have as I was thinking about this the other day is that, Henry Cavill is coming at it from the perspective of a fan and I think that a lot of these other shows, whether it’s like Halo or The Witcher, the other people come at it from the perspective as a writer or as a director, producer or something like that.”
As stated by the content creator, since Cavill himself is part of the gaming and pop culture and is heavily invested in it, he can bring that vision of an adaptation that every fan wants to see.

It is being reported that the IP was originally acquired by Vertigo Entertainment and Cvaill, thanks to his longtime girlfriend Natalie Viscuso and company executive Roy Lee. Now, as the rights are taken by Amazon Studios, they are gearing up to create an entire Warhammer 40000 cinematic universe which is set to incorporate many interconnected films and TV shows around the lore from the model games.
