Dave Filoni has been able to construct his own little Saga that neatly fits into the Star Wars Universe’s main storyline. Through Clone Wars, Rebels, The Mandalorian, and so forth, the actor has fortified himself in a corner of the universe that has received a considerable amount of praise and love from fans.

However, despite this era of the universe being well fleshed out, there have been some characters that have not been done justice, despite them having a great start in the story. Boba Fett is one such character who had a great comeback in The Mandalorian but failed to shine in his own solo outing. However, fans have rallied behind Temuera Morrison, and assured that the blame was not his to shoulder.

Fans on Reddit can agree on the fact that The Book of Boba Fett is one of the weakest entries in modern Star Wars. However, there has been a fair assessment from fans that the show’s writing was the major problem that it had to compete against. As for the acting, it was a given as the cast had already delivered a great performance in The Mandalorian.

Fans of the show were grateful that there were episodes surrounding Din Djarin, Grogu, and the CGI de-aged Luke Skywalker. However, the rest of the show did not manage to live up to the standard that fans had expected from the Book of Boba Fett show. The plot points to some aspects of the show that didn’t fit the tone, which made it a little tough to digest. Boba Fett was a character that a lot of fans expected to get a little more reverence, but he was instead given a lesser depth in the show.

The Mandalorian & Grogu film revealed some footage during D23 and the film is well on its way to being another great adventure for Din Djarin and Din Grogu. However, it has been confirmed that Boba Fett will not be a part of the film, even if the character played a huge role in rescuing Grogu from the empire and thwarting Moff Gideon’s plans.

The film footage has revealed Zeb, a main character from Star Wars Rebels, who also made an appearance in The Mandalorian. Given that they have crossed paths in the trailer, it can be assumed that the film will deal with the return of Grand Admiral Thrawn, which occurred during the events of Ahsoka Season 1.

This could mean that the film could feature Hayden Christensen as Anakin Skywalker’s force ghost, along with characters like Kanan Jarrus, given that his wife and son are also integral parts of the story.
