We’re only halfway done with the year, and despite already having multiple excellent releases, some of the most anticipated games of 2023 are yet to be released. We’ve had spectacular new games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and Final Fantasy 16 released, while also getting blasts from the past with remakes such as Dead Space and Resident Evil 4.

It’s been a terrific year of gaming, and we still have so many upcoming games to look forward to. Without further ado, here is the list for the top 5 most anticipated games of the rest of 2023:

Assassin’s Creed Mirage looks stunning. The visual flair of 9th-century Baghdad is a treat for the eyes. The gameplay looks like a more refined version of what the older titles gave us. Players want to experience Ubisoft’s modern take on the older style, making it one of the most anticipated games of 2023. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is set to release on October 12, 2023.

From what we’ve seen so far, Alan Wake 2 seems excellent. The original Alan Wake was released all the way back in 2010 and has been a fan-favorite ever since. Alan Wake 2 is seemingly taking the atmosphere of the original, and combining it with the power of next-gen consoles.

It looks like Remedy is also upping the thriller and horror aspects of the game. The story also seems gripping. All this, coupled with the survival horror genre, is sure to create one of the most memorable gaming experiences of the year. Which is exactly why it is one of the most anticipated games of 2023. The game is releasing on next-gen platforms, and it looks like it’ll utilize the power of those consoles to pull off awesome Fatalities. Exactly, making it one of the most anticipated games of 2023. 2. Most Anticipated Games of 2023 – Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

For years, players had been asking for a good Spider-Man game after the awesome Batman: Arkham games. And in 2018, Sony gave the fans exactly that. With the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man, Sony successfully released one of the best titles of that year and began an epic universe where other awesome stories could take place.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is ticking all the right boxes so far. It’ll include some of Spidey’s best villains, including, but not limited to, Venom and Kraven the Hunter. The traversal seems even more refined than it already was, and combat has awesome new attacks and animations. It truly looks like a worthy follow-up to the spectacular Marvel’s Spider-Man. Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is set to release on October 20, 2023.

I think it’s safe to say that pretty much everyone is anticipating this release. Like, literally everyone. After Microsoft acquired Bethesda, people were eager to know what kind of games the Skyrim publisher would start to make now. And from what we’ve seen, Starfield looks like an epic space adventure that’ll be grand in every sense of the word.

There’ll be over 1000 planets that you can visit. The world looks vast and gorgeous, and there is a huge emphasis on exploration. You can also join factions that’ll effect the course of the story. Gameplay looks simple, but fun and engaging. The game can be played in either first-person or third-person modes similar to previous Bethesda titles. We’ve all got our eyes on this one to see how Microsoft’s first big AAA game will turn out. But from what we’ve seen so far, it seems as though there is good reason for it to be one of the most anticipated games of 2023.
