Henry Cavill is an actor who is adored by millions of fans out there. The actor received much love and praise for his role as Geralt of Rivia in The Witcher franchise. After portraying the role for 3 seasons, Cavill decided to call it quits and announce his departure from the franchise. It was earlier rumored that due to his involvement in the newly made DCU, the actor simply didn’t have enough time, but things weren’t so simple between Cavill and Lauren Hissrich.

Citing the reason as creative difference between Hissrich and Cavill, the rumor went up that Lauren Hissrich didn’t like The Witcher books and wanted to deviate from the original story. Henry Cavill, on the other hand, loved The Witcher books and wanted to stay true to the lore of the Witcher verse. Although it wasn’t confirmed or denied, Cavill will be replaced by Liam Hemsworth in the 4th season of Netflix’s The Witcher.

The Witcher: Blood Origin will exclusively release on Netflix on 25th December this year.
