The gaming community is excited as the next installment in the Mortal Kombat series, Mortal Kombat 1, is all set to release on September 18th, 2023. The game is still in development and there is still time until its release, but many sources have managed to leak some information regarding the game.
This one specific leak has hyped the fans of The Boys and Invincible franchise, as a source has stated that Homelander and Omni Man will be guest characters in the game. So players can select these characters and fight as them.
Homelander and Omni Man will be guest characters in Mortal Kombat 1
The next Mortal Kombat game has been announced by NetherRealm Studios, which will reportedly release on 18th September 2023. The Standard Edition will cost $69.99 and there will be a Kombat Pack as well that will allow the player to choose six more characters, including Homelander from The Boys franchise and Omni Man from the Invincible franchise.

Mortal Kombat is well-known for its amusing graphics and fighting mechanics. Although it wasn’t the first fighting game, it still managed to steal the show by becoming undoubtedly one of the best fighting games.
One feature that got a lot of love from the fans was Fatality. In Mortal Kombat games, the winner of the final round in a match inflicts a brutal and gruesome finishing move onto their defeated opponent. The move is different for every character so fans are excited to see Omni Man and Homelander’s Fatality move.

Peacemaker will also appear as a guest character
Mortal Kombat 1 is expected to be one of the best games that will be released in 2023. As per sources, another fan-favorite character is expected to make an appearance as a guest character alongside Omni Man and Homelander. Peacemaker from the DC universe will also be a playable character in the game. This rumor has been around for a while and several media outlets have confirmed this news.
There is also a set of fighters called Kameo Fighters which include Tremor, Johnny Cage, Khameleon, Mavado, and Ferra. Reports say that these characters are special assist characters so they are not in the main roster.
Mortal Kombat 1 will release on September 18, 2023, on PC, PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. Early access will begin on September 14 if players preorder the special editions of the game.
