Devil Fruits and their powers are the backbone of One Piece. But it is an established fact that one person can only hold a single Devil Fruit’s abilities. That is with the exception of Blackbeard. But what if Eiichiro Oda is planning on giving the advantage of using several Devil Fruit abilities to one Straw Hat?

As the finale of One Piece approaches, the Straw Hats are in dire need of upgrades. From Luffy’s Gear 5 and Zoro’s swordsmanship to Franky’s cyborg body, all of them will have to improve if they want to reach the One Piece. But there is only one person in the entire crew who is versatile enough to receive the biggest changes.

Franky Might be Able to Hold the Powers of Multiple Devil Fruits

Franky is a cyborg who runs on cola. As bizarre as the concept is, One Piece fans have seen the shipwright chug multiple bottles of the drink to recharge. His body also holds weaponry like missiles and a laser beam that almost mimics Kizaru’s Devil Fruit powers. Because Franky’s body is made of tech, he has the potential to mimic even more such abilities.

The secret to Franky’s upcoming upgrade lies in one of Vegapunk’s inventions, the Green Blood. Vegapunk had discovered that each Devil Fruit has a unique way of being copied, and the Paramecia type required a sample of the Lineage Factor of the user whose Devil Fruit needs to be mimicked. This sample is the Green Blood, which the scientist used to mimic Paramecia powers and grant them to the Seraphim.

What if, instead of Cola, Franky was designed to have Green Blood, just like the Seraphims? This would ensure that the Straw Hat could receive any Paramecia Devil Fruit powers and emulate them in his body.

But who will provide Franky with Green Blood and make sure it is integrated into his system? It is Vegapunk’s exclusive invention, yet the scientist has died, taking his secrets and talent with him. But there is one way out. While the scientist himself is gone, his consciousness still remains in his satellites.

[SPOILER]

In the latest chapter of One Piece, Lilith revealed that the other Vegapunk satellites are not actually dead. It is possible that while their physical bodies perished, their consciousness is still stored in Punk Records. Franky, with the help of Lilith, might be able to build new vessels for the consciousness to be transferred.

After all the Vegapunk satellites have been rebuilt, they can help Franky by re-creating his body. Since the satellites of Vegapunk are an extension of the man himself and carry the same talent and memories, they might be able to infuse Green Blood into Franky’s body. This will help the Straw Hat acquire several Devil Fruit abilities, which will be a major boost for Luffy’s crew.
