Syfy and USA Network’s Chucky has been hailed by fans and critics alike with intense horror and goosebumps throughout. The slasher absurdist humor horror comedy has a fresh 93% Tomatometer score on Rotten Tomatoes. After its successful run in the first half of the third season, the networks have dropped a new trailer for the show’s later part.
The wait will be over soon, fans were left with a massive cliffhanger following the conclusion of the first part of the show’s season 3. Now, the killer doll is back and this time he will go on a rampage as revealed in the trailer that gave a glimpse of his brutal elevation of horror.
Is Chucky Going To Die?
Chucky (Brad Dourif) doesn’t look so good, he is dying of old age but he will not go without a bang. Initially, Chucky’s heart is not in the killing as he is wretched by the test of time but soon Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly) motivates him as he tells her that he is dying for real this time. “Chucky, you’re a cockroach, you always come back,” Tiffany tells him in the trailer adding, “Don’t you want to go down in history as the greatest serial killer of all time?” Old Chucky got his wheel running after that.
He is in a real game this time, Chucky infiltrated the White House and said that he is “going for the nukes!” The trailer also surprises fans with Brad Dourif reprising his role as the human version of Charles Lee Ray alongside the younger versions of Chucky who appeared throughout the series.
It is unclear if he dies at the end but Chucky “loves a good sequel” as he hinted in the trailer. So, this might be a clear indication of the fact that Chucky might just survive.
Chucky Season 3 Part 2 Trailer Is A Pure Goosebumps For Fans
In the action-packed horror trailer filled with violence, Chucky’s sacrifice to Damballa did not go as he intended. Now with his weakened state, it all comes down to his survival while keeping his goals intact. Now, fans are embroiled in the suspense as they have stated the splash in the comets of the trailer on YouTube.
“There is no way that Chucky is going to die, just because Damballa failed him. I am sure he’ll find a way to come back. HE ALWAYS COMES BACK!!” a user who goes by the name of Joshua Knowles wrote in the comment.
“No matter what happens, Chucky always comes back; I’m so hyped for this,” another wrote while another joined to comment, “Calling it now, Chucky’s still trying to get Jake to be evil.”
“I have watched chucky since the late 80s. I remember my dad worked nights, and i couldn’t sleep so me and my mom watched the first chucky movie. Ever since ive loved chucky now as a adult my son who is 13 loves chucky we watch the chucky series together and cant wait for it to come back. I honestly think chucky is the best out of Freddy krueger, Michael myers and all them,” another stated.
Another fan came up with a theory explaining,
“His spirit is going to haunt the White House I just know it, he’s not going to die that easily. I feel like Dambala didn’t grant him his youth back for his sacrifices instead he granted him the powers to become a demon once he dies and possesses the White House and will try to finish them all off in a blaze of bloody Glory.”
Regardless, the final part of season 3 will bring back the titular character’s horror adventure, and fans are waiting for the part with utmost enthusiasm.
