Jenna Fischer was married to filmmaker James Gunn, whereas John Krasinski was dating Rashida Jones at that time. Fischer revealed that it was extremely awkward to film intimate scenes with her long-time best friend, Krasinski. The Giant Mechanical Man actress shared the importance of segregating the emotions of real and reel life.
“It is the strangest thing to have a long-term fictional love interest. It’s a type of relationship that is very intimate, and it’s very powerful, but it’s fictional. I mean, there is a part of me that is Pam, and there’s a part of him that is Jim, and that part of me is in love with that part of him. But in real life, we are just friends.”
It has been nearly a decade since the duo of Jenna Fischer and John Krasinski were together on-screen. But the duo shares a strong friendship, which was definitely not restricted to the sets of The Office. Krasinski revealed that he frequently meets with Fischer and even loves the company of Fischer’s husband, Lee Kirk.
“I see Jenna [Fischer] all the time. I love her husband, Lee [Kirk], and their kids are amazing, so we get together a bunch.”
It looks like the celebrity duo may not have dated each other, but are surely sharing a healthy and strong friendship. Fans are eagerly waiting to see Fischer and Krasinski back together on-screen once again.
