However, Katsumi Ishizuka, the genius behind this episode, teased the iconic Galaxy Impact way before the episode aired. Ishizuka, who is an animation director at TOEI Animation, has previously worked on several projects such as Digimon, Dragon Ball, and Yu-Gi-Oh. Fans pointed this out on Reddit, hinting at the anticipation of the legendary moment.

One Piece and its journey to glory in the world of Shonen anime is nothing short of legendary and iconic. From JUMP’s Big 3 to surpassing Dragon Ball in terms of popularity and revenue, the anime franchise has limitless potential, especially when it comes to its prequels and spin-off series.
From its groundbreaking success as a manga to live-action, many believe that the series franchise has so much potential that it would do amazingly well with the characters’ prequels, especially Monkey D. Garp. Even though the extent of his strength is not known, the recent episode did establish him as a force to reckon with.
While there are several spin-off series to the manga including Ace’s Story, written by Boichi, there has been no official update regarding prequels and sequels of the anime.
