“The English are usually a little bit embarrassed about coming up to me. When I was last there I was in an HMV store buying a movie, and there were Twilight posters all over the store and the two guys working in there just refused to look up.

People are a lot more cynical. They want to take the mickey out of you. If they see you they tend to think, ‘How can I embarrass him?'”

During an interview, Robert Pattinson shared that during his early days in the industry, he used to receive hate emails and social media was also filled with negative comments against him. Moreover, he shared that even after the release of his Twilight movies, his own people, the Britishers did not pay much heed to his work and efforts.
