In 2019 The Sun released a report claiming that Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron have been seeing each other for about a month. It was claimed that the couple met through the Mad Max star’s ex Sean Penn and started off as friends.
The rumors were hyped after they were featured in a shoot together with American actor Adam Driver. “They’ve been friends for some time,” sources revealed, adding that their relationship has developed over time.
Entertainment Tonight’s sources also claimed that they were open to taking things further, but they planned on being friends only at the time. And seems like they were not able to take their relationship ahead, as soon reports started coming that the Babylon star and Theron were nothing more than friends as they were never in a romantic relationship.
Charlize Theron And Brad Pitt Were Never Dating
Followed by The Sun’s reports, sources came out with claims that the dating rumors surrounding the Hollywood stars were false. Sources shared that Brad Pitt and Charlize Theron only did a shoot together, and they are nothing more than friends.
“They have not been out together recently and were never dating. Reports of them being involved romantically are false,” a source told People. It was also claimed that the two “enjoy each other’s company” and share a lot of mutual friends along with their love of acting.
However, neither of them was ready to be engaged in a serious relationship. Entertainment Tonight’s sources also claimed that the Bullet Train star is not looking forward to settling down with someone in the industry after his divorce from Jolie.
Charlize Theron addressed the rumors during an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show. While playing Who’d You Rather on the talk show, the Monster star jokingly said that she apparently had an entire relationship with Pitt that she didn’t even know about.
