Are There to Be Fast and the Furious Spin-offs?
Vin Diesel, who plays Dom Toretto in the franchise, recently gave an interview at the Charlize Theron Africa Outreach Project (CTAOP) Block Party. There he talked about the subject of spiff-offs and what is to come next for the franchise. He confirmed that there are to be multiple spin-offs that are already in the works. This includes a female-led installment.
“I started developing the female spinoff…in 2017 with other spinoffs, and the sooner I deliver the finale, the sooner I can launch all the spinoffs,” He told Variety and went on to talk about the three finale movies, “Look how many characters and great talent there is in the movie, There was no way I can pull that off unless I had everyone on for five seconds. These characters are appealing and we need to see more of them.”
Co-star Michelle Rodriguez, who was also in attendance at the CTAOP benefit, also talked about how she isn’t sure if she will take part in the spin-offs, but would definitely support whatever happens from the passenger side.

How do Fans Feel About a Female-led Fast and Furious Spin-off?
After these announcements were made, many fans went to Twitter to express how they feel about the female-led Fast and Furious spin-off. Many were upset at the concept, calling it untasteful. They believe that the creators are trying to milk the franchise for all its worth, even if it means creating a series purely due to their pseudo-activism.
Some are upset that this sequel is already in the works when the Hobbs and Shaw sequel was supposed to come way before. Many do not believe that the spin-off will do well with the fans or the critics.
Spinoff film now they need to just end these movies enough. I’ve completely lost track of what’s going on as it is.

Will it involve skinny women supposedly kicking the ass of jacked special forces operators while viewers can’t help but notice that those are some very accommodating stunt men? Because I think the last film jumped the shark on that one.
