At the Gamers8 e-sports event, Iggy Azalea was headlining the show. Mid-performance, the actress’ latex outfit suffered a split around the leg area, revealing a swathe of skin. With this wardrobe malfunction, the concert had to be stopped. The rapper went on to Twitter to address the following in a tweet:

“Saudi Arabia please know to everyone at the show tonight… I LOVE YOU. And I’m soooooo sorry I wasn’t allowed to finish my show. It’s not the promoter who put on the show’s fault so show them kindness because they are amazing people and we all wanted to continue but were not allowed by authorities because of my pants splitting.”

Although it is not required for tourists in Saudi Arabia to cover up to the same degree as locals or wear the exact outfits as them, it is strongly advised that they “dress modestly.” This is the general norm prescribed and followed.

It has been reported that some fans were confused as to why the singer of Fancy wasn’t allowed to swap her pants and continue her performance. While she did attempt to make a wardrobe change, it appears that a comment she made may have offended local authorities in Saudi Arabia, leading to the show being stopped.
