Those who have watched High School Musical would definitely know who Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens are. Troy Bolton (Efron) and Gabriella Montez (Hudgens) — the main couple of HSM movies.
Troyella’s chemistry wasn’t only limited to on-set, but they were also very chill outside of their movie world. They took their reel life love to real life. The duo dated for five years officially since 2006.
It’s almost more than a decade, and the Golden couple aren’t together. Efron is reportedly seen with a model, and Hudgens is happily married after to baseball player Cole Tucker. Maybe both the High School Musical stars have moved on now. But in 2011, maybe they had feelings for each other even after their breakup as they were seen getting cozy.
Zac Efron Spotted Kissing Vanessa Hudgens Post-Breakup
Seems like Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens were still head over heels, even after their breakup. They were spotted getting close in 2011 at an event. The execs present there told People that they saw the duo “constantly touching and kissing each other.” The source explained:
“Vanessa was bopping around with her arms up while Zac had his hands all over her. Vanessa had a smile on from ear to ear and the two were inseparable after that. … They were making out on and off for the last hour or so until closing. They acted like there was no one else in the room.”
Though they buried the hatchet at that time, Efron and Hudgens have since moved on. Hudgens dated Austin Butler for eight years after ending her relationship with Efron.
Meanwhile, Efron romanced with actresses like Lily Collins, Michelle Rodriguez, and Halston Sage. In 2022, during an interview with Men’s Health, the actor revealed that he’s taken some time away from the dating scene. But he’s now spotted with Australian model Vanessa Valladares.
Why Did Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens Break Up?
Both Efron and Hudgens were quite young when they started a relationship. She admitted to The New York Times that “I went through a phase when I was really mean because I was so fed up.” She added that “Girls were running after him [Efron],” and she “was giving them death stares.” Then she “realized that’s not what that’s about. ‘Spread the love, be a good person, they support you, be nice.’”
Not only Hudgens but Efron, too, had doubts about being in a relationship at that time. Back then, he told Details when he and Hudgens were still together, “Believe me, I rack my brain thinking, ‘Why am I not out there playing the field?'”
He continued, “One of my buddies was like, ‘You have no idea what’s going on right now. You’re peaking on Ecstasy and you’re watching TV.’ But it’s not in my heart.” Anyways, it’s been more than a decade, and now it looks like both the stars are happy in their lives.
