Since Spider-Man has been recast over and over again, everyone has their favorite friendly neighborhood superhero picked out. You could be Team Tobey Maguire, Team Andrew Garfield, or Team Tom Holland, but we all agree that all three actors did an incredible job bringing the beloved Marvel character to life.

However, the debate of who’s better than whom will always be there, and one thing fans love to talk about is the different Spidey suits. While opinions differ among the fans, with many preferring one over the other, Andrew Garfield has his favorite suit picked out and, of course, he has a bias. He goes on gushing about his Spidey suit while throwing a subtle diss toward Tom Holland and Tobey Maguire’s way.

In the official art book of Spider-Man: No Way Home (via Spider-Man News), Andrew Garfield talks about which Spider-Man suit is his favorite out of the three. And while he may have a bias toward his own, he uses proper logic to state why his suit is the best. While doing so, he might have thrown some shade at Tobey Maguire and Tom Holland’s suits.

“The eyes of mine are definitely the best. The eye shape is just the most open and friendly and, I don’t know, sweet. I would also say, just practically, my suit is the best because I have zippers on my wrists so that I can get my hands out. You get more breaks. But none of the suits are that much fun to wear – they’re all kind of impossible.”

He’s got a point, you know? The eyes on Garfield’s suits successfully manage to show Peter Parker’s emotions, even when his face is completely covered. This gave his Spider-Man much more depth. After all, the eyes, chico, they never lie!

Now that we have established that Garfield is on his own team when picking out his favorite suit, the actor also really likes what the Marvel Cinematic Universe did with Holland’s suit. In an interview with GQ, Garfield went undercover on social media to reply to his fans.

While on Instagram, the Hacksaw Ridge actor stumbled upon a post asking fans to choose their favorite Spidey suits. The post compared the costumes of the three Spider-Men and surprisingly, Garfiel chose Holland over himself.

“Out of these three, I actually like Tom [Holland]’s the best. But, I like the Amazing Spider-Man II’s the best, I think as well.”

Well, while you might think these are all the Spider-Man suits out there, Garfield does have one more that he loves – a suit his mother made for him when he was a child.

Replying to a Reddit user who wrote, “Since everyone is discussing suit ideas, might I say this suit being worn by kind Andrew Garfield is my pick,’ Garfield stated, “It’s epic…My mother would be very, very complimented by that. I agree, That would be the coolest, mother’s felt suit. Awesome.”

Which suit would be your favorite out of the three Spider-Men? Or do you prefer the felt suit made with love by Garfield’s mother? Talk about a tough decision! Either way, it was surreal seeing all the “suits” come together in Spider-Man: No Way Home, and the fact that the film made $1.9 billion vouches for the fact that we absolutely adore the trio!
