Recently, a 65-year-old Call of Duty player gained some fame online when his son posted his stats on Reddit, showing an incredible K/D ratio and dedication to the 2008 release, Call of Duty: World at War. At the time the image was posted, he had nearly half a million kills with his playtime reaching 293 days 14 hours and 23 minutes. At 498,768 kills and 294,385 deaths, one commenter calculated that he has a very nice K/D ratio of 1.6942711075632To put into perspective how high that is, most Call of Duty players struggle to maintain a K/D of even one, with 0.92 being the average in Warzone.

The 65-year-old Call of Duty Player had 19,497 headshots at the time the image was taken. This means that only 3.91% of all of his kills were from headshots, so it seems likely he often shoots for center mass. With a K/D that high, it’s hard to argue against whatever tactics he may employ, as they evidently work out quite well for him. His son replied to a comment about the low headshot numbers saying “He mostly just hipfires the mp40.”

Having apparently only played this one game for the past 15 years, at least according to his son, it makes a lot of sense his stats would be so high. The 65-year-old Call of Duty Player has an average playtime of 80 minutes per day, which adds up to a pretty heft sum over 15 years. As one commenter notes “He’s spent 5.7% of his life in the last 15 years playing this game.”

Gamers around the world should be impressed by this man. Not only has he built up a huge amount of kills and an impressively low number of deaths along the way, but managing to play World at War effectively in 2023 is also fairly impressive. Many commenters were shocked to learn the servers are even still online for the game, with many quick to note how they are full of hackers these days. For this man to not only manage to log so much time into the game but still perform well under these conditions is no small feat.
