Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice 2 trailer has finally dropped, and we see Michael Keaton as the denonic ghost after 36 long years. Also starring in the film include Winona Ryder, Monica Bellucci, Arthur Conti, and Willem Dafoe.
Last November, Burton announced that he had finished the Beetlejuice sequel following the delay caused by the SAG-AFTRA strike. As the long-awaited sequel to director Tim Burton’s 1988 film returns, fans are hyped to see Michael Keaton reprising his role of titular green-haired ghost.
As the trailer was dropped, fans waited for Keaton’s entry, and with just four words, he gave all the fans a proper nostalgic vibe.
Michael Keaton Returns in Beetlejuice 2 After 36 Years
The first trailer for Tim Burton’s Beetlejuice Beetlejuice has been released, and it gives us a hint at what we can expect from the long-anticipated sequel. As the trailer dropped, fans longed for Michael Keaton‘s entry.
As he appears on the trailer, he proudly rises from its ashes, opens his arms, and declares, “The juice is loose!” And, that was enough to make the fans nostalgic. According to a synopsis,
“After an unexpected family tragedy, three generations of the Deetz family return home to Winter River. Still haunted by Beetlejuice, Lydia’s life is turned upside down when her rebellious teenage daughter, Astrid, discovers the mysterious model of the town in the attic and the portal to the Afterlife is accidentally opened.“
“With trouble brewing in both realms, it’s only a matter of time until someone says Beetlejuice’s name three times and the mischievous demon returns to unleash his very own brand of mayhem.” (Via PEOPLE)
Alfred Gough and Miles Millar, creators of the Netflix series Wednesday, wrote the script for Beetlejuice Beetlejuice.

Michael Keaton’s return to the film was a necessity. His old age has not been a factor in slowing down his acting skills, and we saw what he brings to the screen.

“Not having him say “It’s showtime” and instead saying “The Juice is loose” was very smart and a nice little swerve.”
