During a recent interview on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon, the star revealed hi wish to play Charles Xavier, a.k.a Professor X from the X-Men in a future project by Marvel Studios. He also revealed the fact that he has been in contact with Marvel Studios and has been working closely with them for a potential role. After listening to this, an Instagram user by the name of @clements.ink was quick to conceptualize an image where Esposito looked like the mutant professor.

In the artwork, The Boys star looks admirably like a variant of Professor X, so much so that the fans cannot help but express their admiration for the artist’s work and the possibility to see him on the big screen one day.

The possibility of Giancarlo Esposito joining the MCU might be higher than many may think as the actor has already has displayed his talents to Disney as Moff Gideon in the superhit Disney+ series The Mandalorian. Along with that, he was also approached to play the role of Classic Loki in the series Loki, but was beaten to the role by Christopher Walken. Thus, seeing as Disney has already seen what he can do, may consider him for a role in the MCU in the future.
