Robert Pattinson’s The Batman Part II initially faced a delay due to the 2023 Hollywood strikes. Earlier, the DC Studios head, James Gunn, shared on Threads that although he has heard a pitch, he is yet to receive the actual script. Jeffrey Wright, the actor who portrayed the character of James Gordon in the 2022 film, also shared that he has not seen anything when asked about any potential development in the movie.

“You’ve seen as much of a script as I have at this point,” he said before adding, “I haven’t seen anything yet.” He also claimed that he is patient and wants Reeves to focus on creating the “magical and wonderful” story he has in mind.

These updates, coupled with a recent interview from The Batman cinematographer Greig Fraser, have left fans anxious not only about Robert Pattinson’s return as Batman but also about the sequel’s impact on the upcoming DCU projects.
