One Piece’s live-action adaptation has been a huge hit; it has excelled in almost every aspect possible and silenced the negative buzz following the show before its release. Since using only kicks is part of Black Leg’s unique fighting style, he is devoting more and more time to ensuring his kicks are spot-on.
In Season 1 of the show, fans saw Sanji’s journey in joining Luffy and his Straw Hat Pirate Crew. However, it looks like the second season promises to showcase the Chef of Straw Hat Pirates in focus all throughout the upcoming season.

Iñaki Godoy Believes Taz Skylar Was Meant To Portray The Role of Sanji
Words can’t describe how dedicated Taz Skylar has been to his role, keeping his intense 8-hour daily training regiment aside, he also went through culinary training to learn how to cook all the dishes featured in Eiichiro Oda’s magnum opus.
However, that’s not all because he flaunted his cooking skills to his cast members while doing the promotion videos during the first season of the show.
The actor continues to push himself every day, which has earned him the praise of Iñaki Godoy, who portrays the role of Monkey D. Luffy in the live adaptation. During an exclusive interview at MEFCC Abu Dhabi 2024 via YouTube, Godoy mentioned what makes Skylar the “best in the best.” He said,
There is no better Sanji in this world. Yesterday we landed in Abu Dhabi, and today, he woke up early, and you know what this guy [Taz Skylar] did? He started to train because he is training kink, all the time. So that when season 2 comes out he can do best in the best.
The video has set high expectations among the fans of the series, as they have now acknowledged Taz Skylar to be one of the best actors in the entertainment industry. Primarily for the impromptu title of being the best live-action version of Sanji.
However, it is safe to say that he is going to do justice to the character, as he ensures that he focuses on every aspect of his character’s traits.
