Out of every One Piece character, the one who is perhaps unanimously the fan favorite is none other than Shanks. He may not always be present in the series but his power is felt through and through.

As it would seem, the series is moving forward with its story and so is Eiichiro Oda with the chapters. Each slide for fans is a roller coaster filled with thrill and adrenaline. Episode 1112’s upcoming release has increased this excitement manifolds, seeing that the iconic Yonko is set to return, it is only fair to acknowledge that his fight with Eustass Kid isn’t the only time he outdid almost every character of the series.

Shanks is the True Embodiment of Strength and Protection

As pointed out by @_sahil_fy._ on Instagram, One Piece: Red featured perhaps one of the most iconic moments for any Shanks fan. The scene in question was of the Marines showing up and targeting none other than Uta, his daughter. He has always been a force to be reconned with and to come for his loved ones is simply inviting trouble.

This is the Haki of Yonko Shanks.

He may be attracting a crowd with episode 1112’s upcoming release but what is easily an eye-catcher, not just with his fight against Kid, is the time he used his Conqueror’s Haki against the Marines to defend his daughter. Without even having to bat an eye, most of those who stood before him lay unconscious while those who managed to keep standing were barely doing so.

Only exuding power alone managed to fend off the entire Naval army. Moreover, he did not even have his full power. It is only understandable that anyone who decided to pick a fight with him would end up with the short end of the stick, Eustass Kid would know that more than anyone else.

One Piece is About to Give Eustass Kid an Unfortunate Defeat

Episode 1112 of One Piece is about to give the fans one of the most awaited fights of the series, or rather, defining it as a fight would be an overstatement. Kid, whose bounty once stood higher than Luffy’s, is easily a formidable opponent for anyone to face. However, for Shanks, the case is completely different. Both of them had to face off against each other earlier where the cost was as dear as Kid’s own arm.

Now, seeing him once again is an opportunity he would not let go so easily. The Captain of the Kid Pirates has a point to prove and facing off against one of the Yonkos seems to be the only way to go. Unfortunately, he would learn far too quickly, once again, why it is such a bad idea.

He is easily a strong foe to face and Shanks, much to his dismay, doesn’t even bat an eye. In one single strike, as fans would see in the upcoming episode, he would take down Kid like he doesn’t even hold strength in his comparison.

Episode 1112 of One Piece will release on 13th July 2024.
