Harrison Ford and Ryan Gosling starred together in Denis Villeneuve’s Blade Runner 2049. The film was a sequel to Ridley Scott’s sci-fi epic Blade Runner, which starred Ford. The latter has been regarded as one of the greatest sci-fi films ever made and has often been featured on multiple ‘best-of’ lists. Ford reprised his role of police officer Rick Deckard in the sequel.
While the film expands on the original’s (which was adapted from Philip K Dick’s Do Android Dream of Electric Sheep) philosophical quest towards defining humanity, it focuses on Ryan Gosling’s K, a replicant Blade Runner who begins to question his identity after learning information about his own creation.
While promoting the film, the duo appeared on Alison Hammond’s This Morning show for ITV for an interview in London. The 2017 interview reportedly went viral due to the unhinged persona of both Ryan Gosling and Harrison Ford. Many fans were surprised to find Harrison Ford laughing a lot during the interview and joked about the actor’s usual serious persona.

Harrison Ford Reportedly Requested For Alison Hammond On His Next Interview
Actor Harrison Ford hardly has an outgoing persona off-screen. He is usually seen as a grumpy man who does promotional activities at gunpoint. However, the actor seemed to be extremely comfortable and cheerful on ITV’s This Morning in 2017 with Ryan Gosling, which went viral for all the right reasons.
Ford was reportedly so impressed with the interview that he requested host Alison Hammond to be present when he was promoting the Yellowstone spinoff 1923 (via Huffington Post). Alison Hammond mentioned in an interview with The Mirror that Ford had a hoot during the 2017 interview but had forgotten her the next time around,
At the end, Harrison came up to me and said, ‘Alison, you’ve made my day today’. Then, a few days later, we did a Zoom interview, and he didn’t know who I was… didn’t have a clue.
However, the Indiana Jones star seemed to have recalled her as they reunited in 2022, with Ford specially requesting Hammond to conduct the interview with ITV.
