When Spy x Family by Tatsuya Endo debuted in April 2022, it instantly became popular among anime fans. A new movie and a second season of the TV anime were set to be released as part of the franchise because of how well-liked the anime was by viewers.
And now the first film in the series, Spy x Family Code: White, will be released in theatres later this year. Spy x Family Code: White is the first film in the franchise with an entirely new plot that isn’t found in the anime or manga. As the film is scheduled to open in multiple theatres throughout Japan on December 22, 2023, Crunchyroll has also revealed that it will be accessible in North America next year. The official anime website of Spy x Family Code: White revealed that the film will run for one hour and fifty minutes before its release in Japanese theatres. Additionally, mangaka himself created new character designs for the film. Wit Studio and CloverWorks will work with director Takashi Katagiri on the project.
The film is slated for release in Japan on December 22, 2023. The most recent trailer features the return of Fiona Forest along with several other characters and offers a far more in-depth look at the antagonists and the Forger family. Fans created a tonne of hype around the announcement. The current season 2 of the show is also a big hit, which heightens the anticipation for the next film.
