Snyder Fans Slam The Flash for Not Introducing a Single Rogues Gallery Villain Despite $200M Budget While Zack Snyder’s DCEU Did it Long Back

The Flash may not have won the hearts of the fans but the character became a fan favorite when he was introduced by Zack Snyder in Justice League. The character had a jolly aura with a passion for speed and solving crimes, most prominently, the one involving the murder of his mother. The way he mixed well with every other character and the dynamics he portrayed were all loved by the fans.

Unfortunately, the movie was far from what the fans had expected. There was a lot of potential that the film had and it was all pushed away because of bad CGI and poor world-building. Despite having access to a massive budget and a brilliant Flashpoint paradox, it could not achieve what perhaps Zack Snyder could have.

The Flash Had No Rogues Gallery Villain

Barry Allen, and all that he fights for has a fair share of villains that many fans find themselves intrigued by. Whether it was the Reverse Flash, Zoom, or other villains who are yet to make their big-screen debut, The Flash did not include a single villain from the huge Rogues Gallery. While the movie mainly featured aspects of the world from Superman’s point of view, there were a lot of villains that the hero has fought which should have made an appearance in the movie as well.

Captain Boomerang in The Suicide Squad

The only time a villain from the Flash comics ever featured in the big screen version was when Captain Boomerang was part of James Gunn’s The Suicide Squad. Coincidentally enough, a sequence that explained how he got captured also had Ezra Miller’s Speedster making an appearance. The moment captured exactly why Barry Allen was a great hero and just how much he can do with his powers against the villain he faced. More interestingly so, that scene was not shot by Gunn but by Zack Snyder instead.

Fans Express Their Dismay

Fans have been constantly acknowledging as to how there are a great number of members of the Rogues Gallery that could have made their appearance in The Flash. They have been pointing out as to how even with such a vast rogues gallery, not a single villain from Flash’s gallery featured in a movie that was about the titular character.

It instead focused on Superman’s rogues’ gallery and brought about villains that should have been dealt with in a project about Superman and not the Flash. They demand to see more of the villains that could benefit and highlight the movie, rather than the characters around him.

The Flash is now available to watch in theatres.
