However, Shapiro surprised everyone by collaborating with rapper Tom MacDonald for a hip-hop music video. Shapiro makes his rapping debut in the song titled Facts. The music video was released on YouTube on January 26, 2024, and has amassed over 2 million views.
In the music video, Shapiro pokes fun at artist Lizzo, who has won four Grammy Awards. Meanwhile, Shapiro also shared his track on X, comparing himself to Eminem. While the song sees Shapiro and MacDonald talk about identity politics, media, racism, and anti-gun laws, their dig at Lizzo and social media comparison with Eminem drew the ire of some fans.
Nonetheless, the song reportedly became the number-one rap song on iTunes mere hours after its debut. However, irrespective of the song’s content or performance, fans were left most shocked by Shapiro dropping a rap number.
Shapiro is known for hosting one of the most politically conservative podcasts in America, making his rap debut shocking even for his most ardent followers. Furthermore, Shapiro himself criticized the rap genre back in 2019, stating that it was not real music.

Shapiro took to X to share his reaction to the song reaching the number-one spot and said the following:
