The stuff that I thought would make her blush was the stuff that she thought was funny, and she totally embraced it. On the set she never shied away from that stuff, I mean she can definitely hang with the boys. She wasn’t intimidated by any of the foul stuff going on.”

Natalie Portman’s N*dity Refusal Forced Body Double To Step In

Despite giving up on her comfort zone for her $50M flop movie, Natalie Portman was strictly against a particular scene in Your Highness. Irrespective of being a lead actress in the 2011 film starring James Franco, Portman requested for a body double when it came to jumping naked, into an icy lake.

Natalie Portman wasn’t thoroughly enticed by the idea of jumping into an icy lake with no clothes, for Your Highness. Thus, her refusal forced a body double to step up for the scene. Apparently, it was Caroline Davis who went in for the job, despite being paid a meager amount of $500 for jumping naked in an ice-cold lake.

Caroline Davis felt it was a valuable moment for her, given the experience she gained on the set with such a stellar cast. “I’m a film studies student, so I jumped at the chance to be on set” Davis stated. However, in the end despite Portman’s minor hiccups, amid her dedication, the movie failed to create an impression at the box office. Nonetheless, the actress had a blast with the particular genre.
