While the wait for the release of the movie adaptation of the antihero team is creating a lot of anticipation and excitement, reports of a new character being added to the MCU is just further heightening the hype.

Industry insider KC Walsh, who is majorly active on Twitter, tweeted some spicy news regarding the entry of a brand new supersoldier character into the MCU-

As it turns out it is Valentina Allegra de Fontaine, the Director of the CIA in the MCU played by Black Panther star Julia Louis-Dreyfus, is the person who is responsible for the creation of the new supersoldier.

It all sounds exciting to have a new character in the MCU, but it’s even more exciting to know that we’ll be getting more super soldiers in the franchise.

So Is The New Super Soldier Character The Villain For Thunderbolts?

So who’s going to be the antagonist for Thunderbolts? The team of antiheroes will reportedly be facing the director of the CIA ( in the MCU) as the ultimate villain. And the catalyst for this showdown between the antiheroes will be a super soldier who will do the fighting for Julia Louis-Dreyfus’ character.

Thunderbolts is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 26, 2024.
