Christopher Nolan‘s Oppenheimer is projected to make somewhere between $40 to 50 million on its opening weekend and Tom Cruise‘s movie has already broken past it with an estimated collection of $80 million, domestically. The seventh installation aimed for the biggest opening weekend for the franchise and it has not failed to deliver. The movie’s worldwide tally rose to a respectable $235M, the biggest global debut for the franchise which was previously held by Mission: Impossible 2.
