The 61-year-old actor, Tom Cruise is known for his impeccable action sequences that have often left the world in absolute awe. However, when it comes to his pranking skills, it’s just on par with his daring flicks. Back in 2015, his Mission: Impossible 5 co-star, Simon Pegg spilled the beans on how the lead actor pulled a cruel prank on him when they were filming a car action sequence in intense heat in Casablanca, Morocco.

While talking about the scene, he mentioned that they spent five days filming in a BMW car in the excruciating heat when the former decided to advance his torture to the next level.

“It was very hot but I got really hot, a little too hot, and I realized after about three days that Tom had been turning my seat heater on when I wasn’t looking.”

Elsewhere, he mentioned that his co-star used to keep him alive by hydrating him when he was almost reaching his limit.

“Can you get Simon some water, I think he’s getting a bit dehydrated.”

He continued to share Graham Norton,

“He kept doing it and kept getting me electrolytes and hydrating me – it was like Seven, he was keeping me alive while torturing me!”

However, this torture was not one-sided as Pegg decided to make the tables turn by letting Cruise taste his own medicine.

As soon as he realized that it was the Top Gun actor who pulled the trick on the Paul actor, he decided to fire back. Taking the matter into his hands, he decided to keep the heater’s light hidden on Cruise’s side.

“I eventually realised what he was doing then it became a little war and then I put tape over the light so he couldn’t see if his was on.”

Eventually, Cruise felt the heat he once turned on for his co-star. However, this is just the tip of the iceberg since the Jerry Maguire actor is quite mischievous even when he was young. Meanwhile Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation grossed $683 million worldwide with the movie getting positive reviews from critics. The franchise’s new installment, Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One was a box-office disappointment grossing $552 million worldwide, one reason involving the famous Barbenheimer phenomenon.
