Tom Hanks Became A Victim Of AI
Tom Hanks showed that he deserved his title of the most trusted person in America when he brought to light the dangers of AI. The actor became a recent victim to the technology when his face was used for a dental advertisement that he confirmed he did not endorse. In an Instagram post, Hanks sent out a warning to fans to be vigilant of such acts.
“BEWARE!! There’s a video out there promoting some dental plan with an AI version of me. I have nothing to do with it”
While the actor has submitted himself to the de-aging and CGI processes in films like the computer-animated Christmas fantasy The Polar Express, and A Man Called Otto, he did not approve of the dangerous trend of AI juxtaposing images of celebrities without consent, while also using the technology to take over human jobs.
