It better be the final venom film and I hope this is Tom Hardy last appearance as Eddie Brock/Venom

Sorry, but the Venom franchise doesn't deserve its box office numbers or sequels. The movies aren't bad, but they not that good either. They're campy in a bad way b/c it takes itself serious. The PG-13 moniker ruins half the action and violence the comics are known for.

It seems that the Venom franchise did not meet everyone’s expectations, and fans do not want to deal with another installment anymore.
Further Updates On Venom 3
Despite varying reactions from fans, Venom 3 has new updates starting from its newfound director, Kelly Marcel, who penned the first two movies. So far, the plot and release date remain a mystery. Although, we know that the third film is going to be the final chapter of the series.
This might seem like a bummer for fans who loved the franchise, given the success of the previous movies, some even hailing Venom 2 as a major improvement from the first one. Tom Hardy also seemed very dedicated to keeping the character for a while and continuing Eddie Brock’s story in the MCU, hoping to face off Spider-Man.
Despite the announcement and some people’s disappointment, it will not be the last time fans would see Hardy as Brock/Venom. For all we know, the studio is brewing things up for the Sinister Six team, as shown in Morbius’ post-credits.
