Tom Holland has played the role of the charming Peter Parker as well as his superhero alter-ego Spider-Man in the MCU since 2016, and as the years progressed, people were inadvertently drawn to the character through the star’s stellar performance. Naturally, when he revealed that it was finally time to hang up the mask, people were both disappointed yet hopeful for his return.
Fast forward almost two years, and we started to receive news about a potential fourth film featuring the Uncharted star as the web-slinger in Sony’s developing Spider-Verse. With several rumors and reports suggesting the upcoming film is in its pre-production stage, many expected the official news anytime now. And it seems like Holland is all set to deliver it to the fans tomorrow.

Along with him alerting the public of a big announcement coming soon, many eagle-eyed fans also saw him wearing black and red in one of his Instagram stories, which many believe to be a hint at the announcement being related to Spider-Man 4, and may also feature Tom Hardy‘s venom from the Sony’s Spider-Verse.
Considering that we have already witnessed the cameo of the symbiote in the end-credit scenes of Spider-Man: Far From Home, it won’t be a far-fetched expectation from the potential Spider-Man announcement.
What To Expect From Spider-Man 4?
With speculations running wild at the moment, the upcoming film in Sony’s Spider-Verse roster Madame Web has hinted at an appearance of Holland somewhere in there, which will smoothly introduce him into the franchise.
And when he does return to Sony, the character will find himself amidst a plethora of familiar villains and anti-heroes that have already been introduced by Sony in their Spider-Verse franchise. This can allow the narrative of the next film to be anything related to the bigger picture, which will eventually lead to the friendly neighborhood superhero taking on all these foes and making powerful allies in the future.
