Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 release is coming closer and fans are excited to finally get a game in the Black Ops series. Everything that have been revealed about the game by Treyarch and Activision, the fans are hyped and can’t wait to play the game.
The game is expected to be bring the franchise back to its roots and restore the glory. While the game is bringing a lot of new things to the franchise, the developers have seemingly made one mistake than fans are already aware of and they do not like it.
Black Ops 6’s Change Isn’t Liked by Fans
The Call of Duty franchise has brought several characters to the game and many have been well-liked by fans. The developer is bringing some of the most iconic characters from the Black Ops franchise including Adler, Frank Woods, Helen Park, and more.
Players are happy to know that these characters are coming back but they seemingly do not like one decision Treyarch has made about Frank Woods. Woods has in every Black Ops game expect Black Ops 3 and is very popular among the fans.
Anyone else really annoyed that they still didn’t bring back James c Burns to play woods?

The character was voiced by James C. Burns in the previous games. But Treyarch has now replaced the voice actor with a new actor and players are annoyed saying that it should have brought James back without him as Woods.

Several players agreed to this and have said that they always wanted James to be back for his role but “it is what it is.” Many also said that the new actor is doing a good job but it feels like they are doing the impersonation of James acting as Woods. Maybe Treyarch should have thought more about this!
Why Didn’t Treyarch Bring back James C. Burns?
Burns was the voice actor Woods in the first Black Ops title, Black Ops 2, and Black Ops 4. But he was replaced by Damon Victor Allen in Cold War and as per Burns he was not called by Activision to act in the game and was very disappointed by it.
He also said that he did not know the reason behind him not getting the callback. It was seemingly clear that he would not return for Black Ops 6 after being skipped for the role in Cold War but it can not be said for certain what the reason could be.
It has been alleged online that the voice actor broke the NDA and this could be the main reason. However, it is impossible to say for certain until and unless Activision or Treyarch do not share their end of the story.
